Reactive Maintenance.

Reactive maintenance, unlike Planned maintenance, involves responding to equipment failures or breakdowns after they occur in order to restore the asset to normal operating condition. This differs from the Planned Maintenance strategy of aiming to anticipate equipment issues ahead of time and taking steps to prevent them from occurring.

Reactive maintenance can be a beneficial plan for your business from a financial perspective, as it takes less time and and money to have equipment repaired when needed, rather than performing routine maintenance to prevent the breakdown from occurring. That said, it’s recommended that reactive maintenance isn’t your sole maintenance strategy in place for equipment repairs, as it’s often not sustainable in the long run for valuable machinery. For critical assets, it’s a good idea to implement a mix of routine, preventive and reactive maintenance strategies.

  • 24 Hour Reactive Services available to all clients.

  • Operatives no more than 4 hours from any suite in the UK

  • Exceptional first fix rates due to in-depth trade knowledge at all levels.

  • The right expertise to your failure, the first time every time.

  • Fixed rate call out fees and competitive repair rates.

Planned Maintenance.

At its core, planned maintenance entails scheduled, documented and preventive maintenance meant to address breakdowns before they occur. This also includes creating and revising processes for when unforeseen failures take place, ensuring that equipment issues can be fixed quickly and effectively.

n short, planned maintenance is essentially a proactive maintenance approach that is carried out “according to plan.”

Preventive maintenance is proactive and involves regularly scheduled inspections, tests, servicing and repairs. This work is meant to identify and address potential issues before they become serious problems, and tasks are regularly scheduled regardless of the equipment’s condition.

  • Regular Machine servicing to improve efficiency and minimise breakdowns.

  • Asset management to provide clear insight and compliance management

  • Testing an certification to guarantee legal compliance
